Dr. Porter grew up in Loganville, GA. She completed her undergraduate degree in Animal Science at The University of Georgia in 2017 and received her Doctorate from The University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Following graduation, she worked as a small animal general practice veterinarian in Gainesville, GA. Her special interests in veterinary medicine include internal medicine, dermatology, cardiology, and feline medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, David, as well as doing home improvement projects, traveling, and crafting. During football season, she and her husband enjoy tailgating in Athens for UGA games, and during baseball season they enjoy cheering on the Braves. They have one golden retriever named Chief and six cats named Leo, Willow, Nemo, Taters, Flopsy, and Toasty.
